First seen Feb 25, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests if a special cooling cap (PAXMAN system) can help breast cancer patients keep more of their hair during chemotherapy and improve their quality of life. About 100 people will take part, and researchers will also look at whether certain genes affect hair loss and regrowth. The goal is to find a simple way to reduce the distress of hair loss from chemo.
