Summary
This study tested whether a higher, more targeted dose of radiation (SBRT) works better than standard radiation for relieving pain caused by cancer that has spread to the spine. About 219 adults with spinal tumors took part. The main goal was to see if SBRT leads to greater pain reduction at 6 months, while also checking if it helps control tumor growth at the treated spot.
