Summary
This study tested adding a precise type of radiation (SBRT) to standard targeted therapy for people with stage IV non-small cell lung cancer that has specific gene changes (EGFR, ALK, or ROS1). The goal was to see if this combination could delay the cancer from spreading to new areas. 27 participants who were stable on their targeted drug received SBRT to their remaining tumors. The main focus was on how many people had cancer spread within one year.
