High-Precision radiation joins fight against spreading esophageal cancer

Summary

This study is testing if adding a precise, high-dose radiation treatment (SBRT) to standard chemotherapy and immunotherapy helps people with esophageal cancer that has spread to a few other places in the body. It aims to better control the cancer and help patients live longer without their disease getting worse. The trial will enroll about 22 adults in Alberta, Canada.
