Doctors test new radiation approach for risky lung tumors

NCT ID NCT03306680

Summary

This study aims to find the safest and most effective dose of a precise, high-dose radiation treatment called SBRT for lung tumors located near major airways and blood vessels. It will enroll 30 patients with early-stage non-small cell lung cancer to carefully test increasing radiation doses while closely monitoring for serious side effects. The goal is to control the cancer while minimizing harm to nearby critical organs.
