Doctors map Real-World use of High-Tech radiation for cancer

NCT ID NCT02170181

Summary

This study created a registry to track how doctors use a precise form of radiation therapy (SBRT) in real-world cancer care. It followed 149 patients with advanced solid tumors to see how SBRT was used in four different situations, like treating a few remaining tumors or re-treating an area. The goal was to collect information on treatment choices, outcomes, and side effects to better understand and improve this approach.
