Global team unites to map rare neuromuscular disease
NCT ID NCT07443449
Summary
This study aims to connect existing patient registries from 11 countries to create a large international database for Spinal and Bulbar Muscular Atrophy (SBMA). Researchers will analyze the pooled, anonymous data from about 700 patients to better understand the disease's characteristics and progression over time. The goal is to improve knowledge of SBMA and help prepare for future clinical trials, but this study itself does not test a new treatment.
