New study aims to help young people with HIV get the right treatment and suppress the virus

Summary

This study tests a program to help adolescents and young adults with HIV choose their preferred treatment, including long-acting injectable medications, and overcome barriers to getting it. The goal is to help more young people achieve viral suppression (undetectable virus levels) and improve their health. About 288 participants will receive counseling and support to access their chosen therapy.
