First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study looks at whether age-related muscle loss (sarcopenia) is linked to the type and location of rotator cuff tears in the shoulder. Researchers will measure leg muscle thickness, grip strength, and walking speed in 104 adults aged 40-75 with shoulder pain. They will then compare shoulder MRI scans to see if sarcopenic patients have different tear patterns.
