Modified virus and radiation team up to shrink tough tumors before surgery

NCT ID NCT06660810

Summary

This study is testing a two-part treatment for people with locally advanced soft tissue sarcomas, a type of cancer. Before surgery, patients receive a modified virus injected directly into the tumor along with standard radiation therapy. The goal is to see if this combination can shrink or destroy more of the tumor to make surgery more effective and potentially improve outcomes.
