New combo attack on rare cancers before surgeons operate
NCT ID NCT03307616
Summary
This study is testing whether giving immune-boosting drugs, with or without radiation, before surgery can help shrink tumors and improve outcomes for patients with two specific types of rare soft tissue cancers. The goal is to see if this pre-surgery treatment makes the cancer easier to remove and reduces the chance of it coming back. Researchers will compare different drug combinations to find the most effective approach.
