One-Day cataract fix? study tests faster recovery for both eyes
NCT ID NCT06737562
Summary
This study compares two ways to perform cataract surgery when both eyes need it. It tests if operating on both eyes the same day is as safe and effective as the standard method of doing them weeks apart, while also looking at costs and patient quality of life. The goal is to see if the faster, same-day approach is a good alternative for patients and the healthcare system.
