One-Day eye fix? study tests faster cataract surgery
NCT ID NCT06737562
Summary
This study compares two ways to perform cataract surgery when both eyes need it: doing both eyes on the same day versus doing them weeks apart. Researchers want to see which approach is more cost-effective and leads to a better quality of life for patients. They are enrolling adults in France who have cataracts in both eyes and are scheduled for outpatient surgery.
