Home same day after hysterectomy? study tests recovery speed and safety

NCT ID NCT07233811

Summary

This study is testing whether patients recover just as well—or better—when they go home the same day of their robotic hysterectomy surgery compared to staying overnight in the hospital. It will involve 300 patients with both benign conditions and early-stage endometrial cancer. Researchers will track recovery speed, quality of life, and safety over 30 days to see if same-day discharge is a good option.
