Home same day after colon surgery? study tests safety

Summary
This study is testing whether certain patients can safely go home the same day they have colon surgery, instead of staying in the hospital overnight. Researchers will follow 150 carefully selected, generally healthy adults who have robotic-assisted colon surgery. The main goal is to see how many patients need to be readmitted to the hospital within 30 days after going home the same day.
