Faster radiation planning aims to sharpen attack on spreading brain tumors

Summary
This study is testing a new way to deliver radiation to brain tumors that have spread from other cancers. The goal is to plan and deliver the radiation on the same day, which may help the treatment better target tumors that can shift position. Researchers will also compare using a very tight treatment margin versus a standard one to see which is more effective at controlling the tumor while limiting side effects.
