First seen Feb 24, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests whether a comprehensive lifestyle program can improve chest pain and quality of life in people with coronary microvascular dysfunction, a condition where small heart vessels don't work properly despite clear major arteries. About 120 adults with confirmed microvascular dysfunction will be randomly assigned to either a multi-domain lifestyle intervention (diet, exercise, risk factor management, tailored medications, and psychological support) or standard care. The main goal is to measure changes in angina symptoms and quality of life after one year.
