Summary
This study looks at whether certain immune cells (monocytes) can be used as a simple test to diagnose salt-sensitive high blood pressure. Researchers will give 20 adults with high blood pressure a high-salt and low-salt diet to see how their blood pressure and immune cells change. The goal is to find a faster, easier way to identify people whose blood pressure is affected by salt.
