Could a blood test reveal your Body's salt sensitivity?

NCT ID NCT03753204

Summary

This study aims to find a simpler way to identify people whose blood pressure is sensitive to salt. Researchers will test 20 adults with high blood pressure by carefully changing their salt levels in a hospital and measuring their blood pressure and immune cell responses. The goal is to see if a blood test looking at immune cells can predict salt sensitivity, which could one day replace the current complex and lengthy diagnostic process.
