First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study is testing a simple food questionnaire called EvalSel to see how accurately it measures salt intake in hospitalized patients with high blood pressure or kidney disease. Researchers will compare the questionnaire results with a 24-hour urine test, the gold standard for salt measurement. The goal is to give doctors a quick, reliable tool to identify patients who need dietary help, without waiting for lab results.
