NCT ID NCT05137132
Summary
This study tested whether taking an unrefined salmon oil supplement, called CARDIO®, alongside standard asthma medication could help reduce inflammation and prevent asthma attacks. For 20 weeks, 70 adults with moderate asthma were randomly assigned to take either the salmon oil supplement or a placebo pill. Researchers measured the number of asthma flare-ups, lung function, and quality of life to see if the supplement made a difference.
