New drug trial targets Hard-to-Treat salivary gland cancers

Summary
This study is testing whether the drug sacituzumab govitecan can help control advanced salivary gland cancers that have returned or spread. The trial will enroll about 30 adults whose cancer cannot be cured with surgery or radiation. Researchers will measure how well the drug shrinks tumors and how long patients live without their cancer getting worse.
