Scientists search for immune clues in rare salivary gland cancers
NCT ID NCT06047236
Summary
This study aims to understand how the immune system interacts with salivary gland tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous. Researchers will collect and analyze blood, tissue, saliva, and stool samples from 300 patients to identify immune markers that might predict how the disease progresses. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help develop better, more personalized treatments in the future, particularly using immunotherapy.
