Saliva test could spot hormone disorders faster

Summary

This observational study will measure cortisol in saliva from 220 healthy adults to establish normal reference ranges. Researchers will also determine the best cut-off values to diagnose Cushing's syndrome (too much cortisol) and adrenal insufficiency (too little cortisol). The goal is to improve accuracy and ease of testing for these hormone disorders.
