Spit test could replace blood draws for tetanus check

NCT ID NCT07446166

Summary

This study aims to create a simple, non-invasive saliva test that can tell in 10-15 minutes if a person is immune to tetanus. It will be tested on 390 people in Rwanda, including children, adults, and pregnant women. If successful, this test could help people and doctors make better decisions about vaccine needs without requiring a blood sample or lab.
