Summary

This study looks at whether people with Oculopharyngeal Muscular Dystrophy (OPMD) have thicker saliva and worse oral health compared to healthy individuals. Researchers will collect saliva samples and check mouth health in 100 participants, including patients and their household members. The goal is to find out if swallowing problems affect oral health and if saliva contains markers of the disease.
