Summary
This study tested a new injectable drug called SAL003 for lowering high cholesterol. It involved 618 Chinese adults who were not taking other cholesterol medications. For the first 12 weeks, some received the drug and others received a placebo injection every 4 weeks, followed by a longer period where everyone received the drug to see how well and safely it worked.
