Brain bleed lung damage mystery: scientists probe hyaluronic acid clues

Summary
This study looks at why some people with a brain bleed (subarachnoid hemorrhage) develop lung injury. Researchers will measure a substance called hyaluronic acid in lung fluid and blood to see if it plays a role. The goal is to find better ways to diagnose and treat this complication. About 24 adults with severe brain bleeds will participate.
