New drug combo aims to fight tough stomach cancers

Summary

This study is testing a combination of chemotherapy drugs (called sFOLFOXIRI) for people with advanced stomach or esophageal cancer that has spread and cannot be removed by surgery. The main goal is to see how well this treatment shrinks tumors and controls the cancer's growth. Researchers will also track how long patients live and monitor side effects to see if the treatment is safe and tolerable.
