Couple therapy shows promise for borderline personality disorder in new trial

Summary

This study tests a new therapy called Sage for couples where one partner has borderline personality disorder (BPD). The therapy aims to reduce BPD symptoms, improve relationship conflict, and support the mental health of both partners. Up to 152 couples will be randomly assigned to Sage or standard individual therapy, with follow-ups over six months.
