First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This early-stage study tested a new oral drug, YUQ-A1007, in 47 healthy adults to see if it is safe and how the body processes it. The drug is designed to treat inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) by targeting the gut. Since this is the first time the drug is given to humans, the main goal was to check for side effects and measure drug levels in the blood.
