First seen May 17, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This early-stage study tests whether the investigational drug BMS-986353 is safe in adults with a specific type of neuromyelitis optica (NMOSD). Participants, who are already stable on standard treatments, will receive the study drug and continue their current therapy. The study also checks if the drug can eliminate harmful antibodies from the blood, potentially reducing disease activity without lifelong immune suppression.
