Summary
This study tested whether a nurse-led education program could improve mothers' knowledge and attitudes about preventing and treating early childhood injuries at home. Four hundred mothers of children under 6 years old in rural Egypt took part. The program focused on first aid and injury prevention, and the researchers measured changes in the mothers' understanding and practices.
