This study followed over 1,000 people with acute coronary syndrome (a serious heart condition) who received the intravenous blood thinner cangrelor during a procedure to open blocked arteries. Researchers tracked how many patients had bleeding events within 30 days after switching to oral blood thinners like clopidogrel, prasugrel, or ticagrelor.
