First seen Feb 24, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at whether teaching safe sleep habits to mothers of preterm babies—through hospital programs and social media messages—can lower the risk of sudden infant death. About 1,600 mothers will take part, with some getting safe sleep training and others getting reading tips for comparison. The goal is to find practical ways to help families keep babies sleeping safely at home.
