Special training aims to keep vulnerable workers safe from COVID-19
NCT ID NCT06112249
Summary
This study tested a special training program called SAFE, designed to teach adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities how to stay safe from COVID-19 and other airborne diseases at work. The program used easy-to-understand lessons and was delivered either by trained staff or by peer supporters. Researchers wanted to see if the training increased workers' knowledge of safety practices and improved their sense of well-being on the job.
