NCT ID NCT06536634

First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 35 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a gentle electrical stimulation glove to standard therapy can improve hand and arm function in children aged 6-18 with hemiparesis (one-sided weakness). For 5 weeks, one group uses the glove at home for 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week, plus their usual therapy. The other group continues only their usual therapy. Researchers will measure changes in hand coordination and brain activity to see if the glove offers extra benefit.
