First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding sacubitril-valsartan to standard care helps people with a type of heart failure where the heart pumps normally but is stiff, and also has a leaky mitral valve. About 84 adults will take the drug or continue usual treatment for six months. Researchers will measure changes in heart pressure, oxygen use, and symptoms to see if the drug improves heart function.
