High-Precision radiation zaps spreading cancer in major trial

NCT ID NCT03862911

Summary

This study is testing whether a precise, high-dose radiation treatment (called SABR) can help people with cancer that has spread to only 1-3 other places in the body. It compares SABR against standard care to see which helps patients live longer and better. The trial also looks at side effects, costs, and tries to find blood markers that predict who benefits most.
