First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests a precise, non-invasive radiation treatment called SABR for small kidney tumors that are growing. Sixteen adults with biopsy-proven renal masses up to 5cm received this focused radiation to see if it can stop tumor growth and kill the cancer cells. The goal is to offer a needle-free, surgery-free option for controlling early kidney cancer.
