Summary

This trial tests whether precisely targeted radiation (SABR) to a small number of growing tumors, while continuing current drug therapy, can delay overall disease progression in people with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer. About 68 participants whose cancer has started to grow in just 1 to 5 spots will be randomly assigned to receive either SABR plus their ongoing therapy or standard care, which may include switching to a new treatment. The study aims to see if this focused approach can buy more time before the cancer advances further.
