Summary
This study looked at whether a special cleaning process (decolonization) for Staphylococcus aureus bacteria can lower the chance of infection after hip or knee replacement surgery. About 90 adults who tested positive for S. aureus in their nose took part. The main goal was to see how satisfied patients were with the information and care they received during the process.
