New drug trial targets Tough-to-Treat blood cancers

Summary
This study is testing whether the drug ruxolitinib can help control advanced T or NK cell lymphomas that have returned or stopped responding to other treatments. It will enroll about 83 adults whose cancer has progressed after at least one prior therapy. The drug works by blocking a specific protein (JAK) that these cancer cells need to survive, with the goal of shrinking tumors.
