First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests a combination of three drugs (ruxolitinib, dexamethasone, and etoposide) for hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH), a rare and life-threatening immune disorder. The treatment is adjusted based on how well each patient responds. The trial includes up to 10 children and young adults (ages 6 weeks to 22 years) with newly diagnosed or relapsed HLH. The goal is to see if this approach can control the disease with fewer severe side effects.
