New hope for blood cancer patients who need better treatment

Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether adding the drug abemaciclib to the standard treatment ruxolitinib is safe and more effective for people with myelofibrosis, a serious bone marrow cancer. The trial is for patients who are already taking ruxolitinib but still have significant symptoms or an enlarged spleen. Researchers will enroll about 18 people to find the right dose and check for side effects.
