First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding rutin (a plant compound) to vitamin C can lower inflammation and fat buildup in the liver better than vitamin C alone. It involves 120 adults with metabolic fatty liver disease (MASLD) and will measure changes in blood markers of inflammation and stress over 12 weeks. The goal is to find a simple, safe way to manage this condition.
