Digital Doctor's visit aims to help rural smokers quit
NCT ID NCT05764759
Summary
This study is testing whether an online smoking cessation program, delivered through primary care clinics, helps people in rural areas quit smoking. About 288 adult smokers will be randomly assigned to either complete the online program or receive usual care. The program involves answering questions about smoking habits and may lead to a prescription for quit-smoking medication. Researchers will track participants' smoking status for 24 weeks using questionnaires and breath tests.
