First step: can we safely harvest stem cells from rare blood disorder patients?
NCT ID NCT06414889
Summary
This early-phase study aims to see if it's safe and possible to collect a person's own blood-forming stem cells when they have RUNX1 familial platelet disorder. Researchers will enroll a small number of adults with this inherited condition to undergo a procedure that collects these cells from their bloodstream. The goal is to gather information needed for developing future cell or gene therapies, not to treat the disorder in this trial.
