New eye injection aims to slow vision loss in rare disease

Summary
This early-stage study tests the safety of a single injection of RTx-021 into the eye for people with Stargardt disease, a genetic condition that causes vision loss. Up to 18 participants will receive one of three doses and be followed for 5 years. The goal is to see if the treatment is safe and if it can help preserve or improve vision.
