First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called rTMS to a brief writing therapy (WET) can better reduce PTSD symptoms in veterans. About 98 veterans with PTSD will receive either real or fake rTMS before their therapy sessions. The goal is to see if the combination improves emotional flexibility and leads to greater symptom relief.
